    I love books that have activities on the pages. Wheels and cloth and things they can lift to see something under. My boys loved those kind of books.

    Enormous legos, I think they are called Mega blocks. They are way too big to be swallowed and they go together like legos. You can get a truck with them that holds them and you can build on top of the truck. The kids loved knocking towers of blocks off the truck. This may require your assistance. :P

    My children have this one toy that they both love to play with. One is 2 year old and the other is 9 months old. It is an alphabet toy that has big bird and elmo on it and the letters. You push them and it says the letter and a word that start with that letter. It also has two other buttons one that just goes through the whole alphabet and the other asks you to find a certain letter. Its probably the most annoying toy we have in the house..LOL but they both love that toy and play with that more than any other toy they have. Hope I was some sort of help.

    The Fisher Price Peek A Blocks and Round A Bouts! I have found that my 7 month old, and my 10 month old both love them! Plus as foster parents I have seen children as old as 10 get a huge kick out of them! That made me a little happier about my investment as it seems that they will be playing with them for years!

    My 8 month old has decided that his new favorite toys are his older brother’s(2 1/2) trucks. He will crawl and push them around forever! He also like the Fisher-Price Baby Grand Piano. Of course, anything that makes noise seems to attract little ones like nothing else! LOL
