yep and try consignment shops. Why pay more when you can find the same things at great prices somewhere else. Unless you have a problem with used stuff…which some people do.

    Don’t do ebay High prices!!!

At that age, your toddler is trying to develop motor skills and learn how objects relate to each other. The best toys are those that TEACH - not just the ones that look good and make noise. WalMart carries a lot of educational toys, but I’ve been buying the bulk of my child’s toys from eBay. GREAT deals!

Just get a set (8) of stacking cups. They’re about $2 or $3. My daughter used to play with them for hours on end. Target or Babies R Us should have them.

yard sales and thrift store toys may be previoulsy ownded by careless owners….they may have been drooled on, peed on, etc. i recommend Kb toys, they are pretty cheap

I would do yard sales/thrift stores…sometimes on you can find good deals…just clean them. Also, if you have any friends or co-workers that maybe have toys that you can purchase from them. KB Toy stores is a decent place to get toys too…I am not sure where your from but Kohls Dept store always has good sales on there toys as well….

oh yes it is true, I was going to buy another activity table, it was 34.95 at target, walmart, babies r us was more expensive. I went to a church yard sale and bought the same one hardly touched for 5 bucks. I bought a 79.99 stroller for 20 bucks. I love yard sales, plus go to baby second hand stores or CHKD stores to find rattles or light up balls for 2 dollars or less. I found a ty beanie baby for a dollar with my daughter bday on it. I go to thift stores for myself also, I bought a brand new bathing suit that would have cost me 30 bucks for 8 dollars. I found a lot of express clothes and other great name brand clothes. I found a cute 2t ralph lauren skirt for 50 cent. You just can’t beat it. You buy nice clothes for nice events, and the rest can be cheapo. Sometimes I buy off ebay to get a lower price on things…Mama told me you better shop around..and I did.

I have a two year old. He goes through toys like mad, and if we bought them all full at price, I would be broke.

a few ideas; 1)craigslist.org.(find your city or area, search kids and baby)
2)thrift stores; I usually clean everything well with sanitizer before play.
3)If you buy things new, consider reselling them on the craigslist. I have been recycling through very expensive toys since my baby was born

I have found really good deals at church yard sales. You have to get there first though to get the good stuff. i bought my 5 year old a bike for three bucks. The only thing wrong with it was the seat. It was just a little worn. But you can buy those cheap at target.

My 8 month old likes things that aren’t baby toys better than her actual baby toys. Things like measuring cups and 20 oz. bottles. Of course, only things that would be safe and not be able to swallow.
