when my boy was 2 he loved listening to me read him books and learning toys with sounds, blocks will always go over well to, as will any form of bouncy ball. but mainly just ask him, hes 2 he should be able to talk somewhat, just be fun, 2 yo’s are cool.

Just be yourself. Try to be happy and enjoy ever second/moment he sees you. Games/toys? His Mom + Dad should take care of that. If not, try pots and pans or small objects that can be thrown around without any damage to anyone or thing. You were a baby once, right? Good Luck!

If possible, take him OUTSIDE. That’s where little boys love to be best. Outdoors you can play ball, draw with chalk on the sidewalk, catch bubbles (he’ll love that). Inside, you can have him help you “cook” chex mix that you two then eat together. Get a couple sheets of white posterboard and let him color on them with crayons or washable markers - or, if you’re brave, washable non-staining paint. He’ll love that its a much bigger canvas than the typical 8 1/2 x 11 sheet he’s used to. (You might tape the edges down for him so the paper doesn’t slide around.) Ask mom & dad to bring his favorite CD so you can dance. Typically two yr olds have an attention span of about 5 minutes - so he’ll be on the move! Having many activities ready to pull out will come in handy. He might only stay at one 5 minutes, but he’ll come back to it again and again. Good luck!

my little brother is two…and he loves playing with trucks…making the noises and everything else. he also likes books…but not to read them…he likes looking at the pictures and telling me or my mom what they are. its really cute. he also likes the very large building blocks that u connect and stack…..and this is a weird one but he likes to play with the controler from a playstation 2 …i think its funny..he will just go around and play with that for about 15 minutes. Whatever keeps them occupied!!!….good luck
