What are some safe toys to get for my parakeets?

I bought them some toys from petsmart but a toy nearly killed one of my parakeets. I bought a mirror there also and my bird 's tail has been interfered behind it. What are some safe toys for them?

    Plastic toys that are parakeet size.You could give your parakeet papers to shred but make sure it doesn’t have ink especially the colored one.Leather thong and wooden toys. If you’re going to buy rope make sure the rope is not frayed as it’s nail can get caught.That goes for all toys if it’s worn down throw them out.

    mmm well u could get little plastic balls a ladder (bird one) mmmmm anything really just not soft meterial

    I understand they like the Busy Bugs Music Box. It is a kids toy but there is nothing for parakeets to get caught in and they like the motion and music.
