I'm looking for safe chewing toys for my puppy. The briccone are almost 4 months so is still making the teeth. It has a rope toy and a dentabone. I saw some other toys, raw hide, but they said the "not for human consumption Please wash hands after contact." Wash your hands after contact has made the healthy kind of dangerous to me we have not received them. Please help with brand names and types to help him.

smart not to get rawhide. that’s bad stuff.

if the pup has his milk teeth, get him a puppy kong. if he’s got adult teeth, get him a kong appropriate for his mouth size.

I use Nylabones. they last a long time and they can’t swallow big chucks and cause a blockage.

Kongs and Nylabones. Great. Get the Kong you can insert a treat in. That will keep him very busy. Nylabones come in different sizes and flavors. They are practically indestructible. All of my dogs love them.

And you were right about the rawhides. No good.

you can get a baby teething ring (probably at wal-mart) and put it in the freezer for an hour and give it to her it will sooth her gums and help her with her teething problem
    hope i helped!:)

You can get knuckle bones from your butcher and have him/her cut them up for you. PLEASE never/ever use rawhide. It can swell up in your dog’s intestines and cause blockages which can cause death, or at least some serious medical problems.

You should get him a Kong, and stuff it with peanut butter.

Rope toys are good just don’t leave unsupervised as dogs love to rip them th shreds

    Try a kong toy

There come in loads of different shapes and strenghts, some have grooves that you can put something tasty into

    Also try nylabones

    Kong
    Busy Buddy
    Orbee
PetStages - they make different toys for different developmental stages
Chilly Bone - awesome for pups! Put it in the freezer, it helps to alleviate pain during teething

Try to find the hard plastic that you can put in the freezer, I found a fish shaped one at the pet supply stores.
Also good are the 6inch bullysticks.

Rope toys are GREAT for teething! Especially when you dip them in water and then freeze them! Here are some really cute ones:
