Use a “Snake”….. my 2 year old did that, too and we used that from any hardware store…. worked wonders, got the toy out and the toilet is just as new.

You can try snaking it. You can purchase the tool at any hardware store, or possibly even Walmart.

You may need to ’snake’ the drain. We even had to remove the toilet and clear the pipe after one such joyous experience with our oldest child.

This happened to my sister, nothing worked until her husband removed the entire toilet and fished out the toy, I suggest u or someone do the same.

The only way to get a toy out of the toilet is to remove the toilet from the floor. This is a big job, but my husband has done it a couple of times, and I remember my dad doing it too. You may want to get a plumber for your first time, and watch how it’s done. If you have kids around, this won’t be the last time this happens.

When we bought our house one of your toilets was not flushing properly.

My husband unscrewed the base to the floor so he could take a look at the bottom. This is the part that you cannot reach with your hand but before it goes through the pipe, into your floor and out the never neverland.

I won’t tell you what was clogging the toilet (the GROSSEST domestic activity I’ve ever participated in), but once it was unclogged……….it flushed like brand new!

You will want to turn off the water first, unhinge the entire toilet from the floor and carry it over to the bathtub. Lean it over and see if the toy is caught in the bottom somewhere.

Wear gloves and thoroughly clean your tub afterward. Good luck!
