Just Wanna Know asked:

I never really considered what my dogs were putting in their mouths, to what my mother does not specify that some of their toys are made in China. I am worried over nothing? We should be concerned about what kind of toy animals Spedicato here? With the food bad and painting based on lead, other things that we're not noticing?

Lead has been found in painted baby toys made in China so it is entirely possible that the paint on dogs toys is lead too. I would not give your dogs these toys, just to be safe.

    Why risk it?

If they have the nerve to use it in kid’s toys, and use whatever the heck it was they used in the pet food, used the antifreeze component in toothpaste, and the medicine-something with gylcerin I believe? Then I wouldn’t be at all surprised if pet toys were also tainted in some way. Just my opinion though….

That is a great question to ask. I would be worried about it. If there are toys with lead in it for children then there just might be lead in the toys for animals. There is Formaldehyde in children’s pj’s from china and also today Mattel had a recall on their toys.
