My dogs usually don 't like chewing toys that feel the smell of strong rubber, to avoid playing with their diaries. I bought one just to the filing of the household but didn 't achieves its strong smell like? been sealed in plastic. Not even touching it. Gi? I opened the package cos? I can 't return it. ? a sense that we can remove the strong smell of rubber or ridurrlo at least so my dogs will take an interest and I won 't feels like I wasted $ 15? (Please don 't suggest that the transparencies of peanut butter or other food products to the toy, perch? That' s just a difficulties describing won 't do much to take care odor. Thanks.)

I noticed that, too, with a rubber tug toy I bought my dog - he took one bite of it then looked at me like “Ewww”. I’d try soaking it in some soapy water - maybe even stick it in a pillow case and run it through your washer. I’ve noticed with toys like this the smell often dissipates so maybe it’s something you can soak off. But then again, you may end up with it tasting like soap if it’s porous.

Course the better option might be to just return it - especially since the dogs won’t be too disappointed since it’s not something they’ve been playing with.
