How do I keep my 2-year old from peeling stickers off his toys?

I need some creative ideas/thoughts for preventing my 2-year old son from peeling the stickers off his toys. It’s very frustrating when he’s ruining toys left and right by removing the letter stickers off his educational toys. Telling him “No” just isn’t working.

    from what i’ve learnd children at ur son’s age love to explore. i think he’s kinda fasinated on what are stickers. why it stick and can b peeled off.

    let him be.

    or u might want to consider buying toys without stickers on them..

    Hes 2 years old. you aren’t going to like my answer but come on. educational toys? its developmentally appropriate for him to be peeling the stickers off. Save these toys until hes a little older. there are plenty of other educational toys out there for his age that dont have stickers on them. try blocks or things with buttons he can push that light up.

    It is a normal behavior for a 2 year old to be doing that. If you must buy him toys with stickers buy toys that are not educational and require stickers. You may also want to buy him some type of board or other cheaper toy and also buy him stickers. You can make it a project by having him put his own stickers on the board. Good luck I hope I helped.

    I totally understand what you are saying, but this task may be a hard one!
    Your baby has learned a new skill, and is actually developing his fine motor skills in the process!
    Maybe if you catch your baby at in tell him “no” then maybe redirect him to some paper that you don’t mind for him to shred to his hearts content!
    Good Luck!!

    you won’t like my answer either…. you don’t lol….. you could go to the dollar store and buy him a whole whack of stickers really cheap and stick them to his toys so maybe he’ll pull them off instead. Honestly, it’s an exploratory thing and whether they are educational toys or not, he is actually educating himself by peeling them off lol.

    you could just try psychology of a cat!, example spirits him with water when he does that (meaning he wont get hurt) but also it could backfire and not have any effect.

    he’s a two year old so this is normal behavior. as he gets older he might learn not to do this, but I seriously doubt that this can be helped at this time, like it was suggested, use toys that are not labeled; meaning that they are ‘painted on’ instead.

    Tape the labels on with packing tape so he can remove them duh

    My daughter used to do that. I’d find bits of stickers all over the house sometimes and it drove me nuts. To be honest, I gave up - she’s having fun, she’s not really doing any harm. Kids toys are never going to look like new once they outgrow them, so I didn’t fuss about it too much. They are really just exploring their skills. There’s not a lot you can do about it at that age, they will keep doing it anyway.

    Either use more supervision or put those toys up. I used to buy cheap toys for my daughter when she was little and she would break them in matter of minutes. My family motto is: If it’s not broken, it’s not ours!

    get him a whole stack of stickers and sticker book so that he would start sticking all over the house, cupboards and walls.

    Show him that these are the stickers that can be peel off but not those on the toys. He will get the hang of it once you show him and will stop peeling off the stickers on the good toys.

    Kids these age learn very fast once he see it for himself.
