Toys?

my dog is a very destructive little guy. u give him a new ball and it is chewed in half in about a day. i tried giving him kongs but he showed no intrest in them. he doesnt like big rubber toys. i even put treats in them and the liver pastes and peanut butter but once the good tasting stuff is gone he wants nothing to do with his toys. so what kind of toys do u use for ur dog. i need something that will intrest him yet he cant be able to destroy it.
he gets through ropes in about 2 days and plush toys dont work either. he chews a hole in them to get the squeakers out and he chews the stuffing out and then eats it. and he has had surgery to unclog his intestines and that is something i really dont want to go through again. also he loves things that make noise. squeakers especially but the toys that make the best noise r plush and like i said he destroys them
also if u could provide links to some things that would be great.
one more thing. he likes the tire biter toys. he got one when he was about 6 months old and he is now 2 but i want to mix his toys up a little so he has some variety to play with

what about the ropes, or the really chewable plush toys. looking through the toys at the stores will help. but you might just want to buy some that are cheaper, and let him have his fun!

try going and getting a solid rubber ball that makes noise. I have one for my dog and he loves it. If I bounce it it will make random noises. It also lights up.

We have a star shapped toy with a squeaker made by Bamboo. ( That’s the name of the company that makes it) It is also called a combat dog toy. It is very sturdy.

I know your pain… I have 2 jack russell beasts and as small as they may be — hardly anything “stuffed” lasts for more then 30 min.
Amazingly I have had “some” luck with certain “FatCat” stuffed toys which you can buy at Target but I have to buy ones with the least amount of seams (the allegator and snake seems to last the longest)…But if you want to save money you can buy them direct at fatcat.com.
Also - Check out DOG.COM which is an excellent site for all sorts of dog goodies — You do need to pay for shipping but no tax…and if you check out the prices in the store — You still come out ahead. Anyway — My dogs like the nylabone teething rubber keys (They look like a baby toy) and nyla-fish and they last for months!…Also, the tuffies stuffed toys are pricey but are better then most…..But still — Im lucky if I get a 2 weeks out of them.
