W C asked:

Would prefer not to wash the stuff toys in the washer. Is there another effective way of cleaning large stuff toys? Thank you for your suggestions.

Hand wash them- In the washing machine, they might get destroyed.

just use a wet wash cloth, spot wash…

you can also spray with lysol or something occasionally.

my suggestion is get rid of most of them, and just keep your favorites.

I put it in the washer which do not turn out so good or throw them away
…or you could soak them in a bucket of soap water with vinegar over
night, then next day wash them by hand squeeze them well and dry them in the dryer..

Hand wash them. If you see on most stuffed toys, on the tag it says to hand wash with care.

When I wash stuffed animals, we, get a large pot out and fill it up with hot water. We leave it sit there in the sink while we add baby shampoo. Once the water is foamy, take a moist rag and drop the toys in the pot. Scrub them around making sure all stains and spotting are clear. when they are all down sit them on the counter for 5 minutes. Dump the soapy water from the pot and fill it back pot with hot water but this time, fill it with fabric softener. Do as before, but just squeeze them and scrub them with your hands and when done, rinse and leave to dry.

    I hope this helped!
